Three hospitalised after Kilcock burglary

THREE people were taken to hospital on Sunday evening following an aggravated burglary at a house in rural Kildare, writes Henry Bauress.

Around 11.00pm on Sunday night a man broke into a house in the Ballybrack area of Kilcock.

The man, who was carrying a knife, was confronted by two people in the house.

All three were taken to hospital but, say Gardai, none have life threatening injuries.

A man has been taken in custody following the incident.
