A man charged in connection with the discovery of a so-called cannabis grow-house appeared at Naas Court last week.

Carl Byrne with an address at Temple Mill, Rathangan, had the case adjourned until June 14 to allow time for a book of evidence to be prepared.

The defendant (34) faces an allegation of possessing the drugs with intent to supply and cultivating the plants on January 20, 2011 at the Acorn Business Park.

He was released on bail of €5,000 and an independent surety of €2,500.
