Puppets, pop stars and face paint make for fun weekend

IT WAS a kiddies time at Whitewater over the long weekend with several attractions aimed at younger shoppers.

Face painters were available all weekend, with two painters giving children a chance to create their own designs, as well as having the option of having it professionally done.

Meet and greeters were also on hand throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, August 4, two performers walked around the shopping centre playing several different characters.

They interacted with the shoppers as summer lovebirds, crazy clowns, madhatters and circus birds.

There were also ever popular balloon modelers, creating wonderful shapes, animals, people and anything the children wanted.

Monday, August 6 saw the arrival of the world famous massive heads.

Throughout the day shoppers were greeted by some of the world's most famous entertainers, in caricature. Shoppers got a chance to meet Bono, the Gallagher brothers, not to mention Tom Jones.

Entertainment company Arcana, which ran the various attractions, also had a giveaway sweet for all visitors to Whitewater.
