Riverbank has been listed alongside The Set Theatre, Kilkenny, TLT, Drogheda, Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray and Wexford Arts Centre, Wexford.
“We are absolutely thrilled,” said marketing manager Hazel Williams.
“It is first time we’ve been shortlisted - you are nominated by the public and voted for by the public which will add another string to our bow if we win. We rely on the public to get us there - they can only vote online and at the following address www.surveymonkey.com/s/imrovenueawards. It would be fantastic to win on a national level it would put us in a fantastic position, attract more bands and increase our awareness in the community.”
Other gongs at the awards ceremony include the National Live Music Venue of the Year and this is the fifth year of the live music venue awards category.
