Missing Newbridge teenager Nikita Farrelly

A teenager from Newbridge who went missing from her family home last week has returned safe and well.

Nikita Farrelly (17) was reported missing to Gardai after she failed to return home on the night of Thursday, October 18 last.

Gardai alerted the media over the weekend, which sparked a nationwide alert for the teenager.

Nikita, 5’’ tall, of light build with long blond hair was wearing a grey tracksuit and grey boots when she went missing.

There was speculation that she could have gone to Tallaght as she was known to frequent the Tallaght area. Gardai in Newbridge appealed for the public’s assistance in tracing her whereabouts, and were successful.

The teenager was located safe and well, it was announced on Monday last. Newbridge Gardai have thanked the public for their assistance.
