Massive cannabis haul in Kilcullen

Gardai have siezed over €800,000 worth of cannabis plants in an early morning raid in Kilcullen.

A man in his 50s was arrested during the operation in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, February 8. He is currently being held at Newbridge Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

The cannabis plants were found as part of an ongoing investigation, according to a Garda spokesperson. Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit and the local force were involved in the search.
