Man questioned in connection with Athy cannabis seizure

A man is continuing to be questioned this evening at Kildare Garda Station in connection with a drugs seizure in Athy.

On Monday evening, gardai arrested a man in his 20s at Cardington. Herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of E96,000 was siezed from a van during a Garda Operation.

The man is currently detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996, at Kildare Garda Station.
