A MAN was arrested in the Robertstown area yesterday (Monday) morning in connection with a tyre slashing in Clane.

The 20-year old was detained in the Robertstown area and was taken to Naas garda station for questioning.

He is the second man to be arrested following the incident.

Over 25 cars had their tyres slashed in Clane in the early hours of Monday, November 19.

The incident took place between 2am and 4.30am in several estates in Clane including Oatfield Park, Hillview Green, Loughbollard and Capdoo Lane.

Between one and three tyres were slashed on each vehicle and a knife was later found in the Capdoo area.

In some cases, flower pots were thrown through windscreens.
