The Hope Foundation is again calling on Kildare schools, companies and individuals to volunteer on October 12 and lend a helping hand to sell the Butlers HOPE chocolate bars which are priced €2 for steet children in India.

The aim is to sell 50,000 bars to raise much needed funds for street children and families living in extreme poverty across Kolkata. Organisers claim that by buying one bar of chocolate a child’s life could be saved.

Last year HOPE asked the question, “If you could change a child’s life simply by buying a bar of chocolate, would you do it?” From schools, universities, companies and individuals around Ireland, the answer was a resounding yes.

As a result, over 50,000 bars were sold, raising an astonishing €100,000 to help the street and slum kids of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India.

Speaking at the launch Niamh Geaney, former Miss Kerry, said “To support The Hope Foundation is to support human rights, reaching out and helping Those who cannot help themselves and ensuring their future becomes a much brighter and safer place.”

If you would like to help those who can’t help themselves, please come on board and buy a Butlers HOPE bar of chocolate for only €2 and in doing so, better the lives of the street and slum children who desperately need our help. Please visit www.hopefoundation.ie email janet@hopefoundation.ie
