Gardai have recovered a large amnount of stolen property at a storage unit in Straffan.

The find, estimated to be worth in the region of €300,000 was made on Wednesday evening, February 6 when various units of the Gardai, the Organised Crime Unit, the National Bureau of Criminal Investigations, the Air Support Unit and the Garda National Drugs Unit combined to swoop on the premises at approximately 9.30.

A substantial amount of property believed to be stolen was there.

The propserty included commerical coffee machines, clothing and a range of vitamin products.

Four men, ranging from their mid 20’s to their early 40’s were arrested at the premises and were detained at Naas, Lucan and Leixlip Garda Stations.

Three of them appeared this morning at Kilcock District Court to face charges in relation to the incident.

A fourth man was released on Thursday and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardai are currently examining this property which is believed to be valued at approximately €300,000.
