Leah Taffee from Robertowns who needs lifesaving treatment in Boston

A number of events have been organised to raise money to send little Leah Taaffe to Boston for lifesaving medical treatment.

This weekend Famous medium, Bernie Stokes has cleared her schedule to host a special night in Allenwood Hall this Saturday February 9 at 8pm. Admission is E10 and all the proceeds will go to the Princess Leah fund. Leah is a little six year-old girl from Robertstown who has been diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. Family, friends and relatives have rallied around to raise funds to send her to Boston for treatment. A bike rally has been organised for 1pm on February 17 from Robertstown,

Newbridge Hotspurs Football Club and Clongory F.C have also joined forces to organise a game at 3pm on Sunday February 17 at the Newbridge grounds on the Rickardstown Road in Newbridge (across from Rosconnell Estate).

Admission to the game will be E5 and all money raised will go to Leah and the cause. If Leah is unable to travel for the treatment any money raised will be donated to the cancer unit at Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
