'Bobby' visits as a guest of Newbridge Silverware

The only man to have spent an entire television series season in a shower is set to visit Ireland, courtesy of Newbridge Silverware.

The giftmaker has invited Dallas' Bobby, otherwise known as Patrick Duffy, to the launch of the Newbridge Silverware's 2009 collection at Showcase Ireland in the RDS this coming Sunday, January 18.

The star of 'The Man from Atlantis' and Dallas to will be joined by Linda Gray who played Sue Ellen in Dallas to launch the 2009 Collection.

Mr. Duffy joins Audrey Hepburn, Yasmin Le Bon, Sophie Dahl, Keith Wood, Ronan O'Gara, Larry Hagman and Ms. Gray as iconic names associated with the Newbridge Silverware brand.

And Newbridge Silverware claim the moment the pair appear in the RDS could become as infamous as the shower scene in Dallas that saw 'Bobby' return to the living and rendered the entire 1985–1986 season 'just a dream'.

Patrick Duffy is, unsurprisingly with a name like his, of Irish descent.

His audience appeal has been gained through three highly successful series. Starting with 'Man From Atlantis' followed by his 13 years starring as Bobby Ewing and finally in seven seasons of the popular half-hour situation comedy 'Step by Step', he has consistently been an audience favourite.

He will be accompanied by Linda Gray, who has been a guest of Newbridge Silverware on a number of occasions when she visited the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons with former co-stars Charlene Tilton (aka. Lucy) and Larry Hagman.
