Arrests in Naas over ATM fraud

Two men were arrested in Naas yesterday evening as part of an investigation into ATM fraud.

The two were arrested at Sallins Road at 6.45pm on Wednesday, February 27, as the result of a surveillance operation. A number of items of evidence were siezed along with their vehicle.

The men, both in their 30s, are currently being detained at Naas Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation, called Operation Glint, into fraud involving the insertion of devices into ATMs.
