A second man has been arrested this afternoon in connection with the murder of 64-year-old Thomas (Toddy) Dooley in Edenderry.
The 19-year old was arrested this afternoon, Wednesday February 26, in Edenderry. He is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Birr Garda Station. He may be detained for up to twenty four hours.
This is the second arrest in the case to date.

The body of Mr Dooley was discovered on Sunday, February 16, when Gardai were called to his house at Sister Senan Court Edenderry. He had sustained injuries to his upper body was pronounced dead at the scene.
