Up to 325 horses turned out for the annual Monasterevin Horse and Pony Club Hunt last Sunday February 24.

The response took the organisers by surprise with a huge number of people travelling from as far away as Wexford and Meath. This year the proceeds were in aid of a little one year old boy from Monasterevin called Rhiain, who is battling cancer. Although the final tally has to be totted up, the organisers believe it may yield in excess of E10,000.
