A queue of people is forming outside the Jam Music store in Naas in anticipation of the release of tickets for country music legend Garth Brooks’ final concert this Summer.

“We will print off the tickets in batches of six at a time at 9am tomorrow (February 6),” Jam Music store manager Conor Cassidy told the Leader this afternoon.

He said he will do his best to provide tickets to those who have queued outside the longest.

“Some of them will be here overnight but we will print them off as fast as we can and we expect to sell between 200 and 300 tickets but we can’t be certain about the numbers,” added Conor.

Jam Music is one of numerous Ticketmaster outlets in Ireland and requests for tickets are approved centrally as soon as they arrive from individual outlets.

“It’s a race (for the tickets). If this was the only store applying for tickets we would get all 80,000 of them,” he added.

He expects all of the tickets to be sold out within 30 minutes. The latest and final batch are for the additional July 28 concert in Croke Park. The fourth concert was added after shows on the three preceding days sold out.
