Parade info: Scouts prepare to run second Kilcullen parade

Kilcullen is getting ready for its second St Patrick’s Day Parade and hoping for clear skies and sunshine.

The event will be organised by the Venture Scouts and are reporting that there is great interest in the event from the local community, with at least 30 groupsparticipating.

The parade will beginat 12 noon with the viewing podium located oppositeBank of Ireland; floats and participants can meet from 9.30am at KMED car park, situated on the Naas Road, just across from Dunlea’s.

Local clubs taking part include Kilcullen Lions Club, Kilcullen Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Ventures, St. Brigids Pitch and Putt club, Drama Dynamics, Blessington Sailing Club, Kidz Academy, Premiere School of dancing, Mac and Norman, Jennifer Murray’s School of ballet, Transition Year Students from CPC, Kilcullen GAA and Camp Hill Community Kilcullen.
