Over the 10 years of its existance, Clane St. Patrick’s Day Parade has developed into a full blown festival that encompasses several days either side of the day
itself.

There will be trad sessions this evening, Friday March 14, a visit to the Bog of Allen Centre, a concert of the Millicent Singers in Clongowes and a historical walking tour of the
village.

The festival also features a Lambert Puppet Show, the Kilfenora Ceilli Band in the GAA hall, and an award ceremony in the Westgrove Hotel where every float will receive a certificate marking the 10th anniversary.

On the day itself, the parade starts at 3pm and will be lead by Mayor Dessie Marron and Grand Marshall Leah Redmond.

For those who can’t make it, the event will be streamed live from 2.45pm on clanefestival.ie, which is where you will also find lots of other information on
the festival.
