Newbridge Musical Society’s production of ‘Oliver!’ will be entertaining audiences all this week at Newbridge College Theatre.

The hard-working cast and crew opened this year’s production with a matinee on Easter Sunday, and will be bringing well-loved hits, such as ‘Consider Yourself’ and ‘Gotta Pick A Pocket’ to the stage until next Saturday.

This year, the show boasts a cast of over 100, including 46 children. Kyle Dunne plays the title role of Oliver. The Patrician Brothers and Leah Moran Stage School student won the part in an open audition in January.

Graham Butler-Breen and Elliot Nolan will play Dodger.

The show is on nightly at 8pm, with a matinee next Saturday, April 29. Tickets are available by calling the booking line on 045 876327, or from The Kiosk on Main Street. Pre-booking is advised.

A family ticket is €45 (two adults and two children under 16); adult tickets are €15, OAPs, children and students €12.

The show is directed by Sharon McNamara, with musical director Margaret Hayes and choreographer Julianne McNamara.
