The presidents of both colleges in Maynooth joined students and well wishers at the launch of Galway Cycle 2014 last Wednesday.

Heading into its 27th year, the Galway Cycle will take place on March 28, 29 and 30 next year and will raise funds for Prader Willi Association of Ireland.

Local woman Emma Walsh attended the launch with her son Henry, a Prader Willi Syndrome baby.

Monsignor Hugh Connolly of St. Patricks’ College Maynooth and Philip Nolan, president of NUI Maynooth, who has completed two editions of the Galway Cycle, wished the students all the best in their endeavours.
