The Little Way Cancer Support Centre is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a fashion extravaganza.

The event will feature the latest in spring/summer 2014 fashion with Ireland’s top models from Assets Model Agency and will take place on May 21 at 8pm in the Westgrove Hotel, Clane.

Little Way is a company with charitable status, working in a voluntary capacity.

The company consists of seven unpaid directors working for the needs of cancer patients and their families in County Kildare.

They solely depend on fundraising events and donations from the community.

The Little Way Cancer Support Centre was set up in October 2003 to provide support for cancer patients, their families and friends.

While medical concerns are addressed, many people feel that their emotional needs and those of their family and friends are not.

The Little Way Cancer Support Centre meets this need by providing emotional support and practical help to people who have had cancer, their family and friends.

Shops taking part in the fashion extravaganza will include Couture in Naas, Loretto’s Boutique, Heavenly and Dress of Dreams from Clane and Maggie D Cashmere in Prosperous and Hats by Cocco in Kilcock.

Tickets are available from the Little Way Cancer Support on 045902996 /0872983140 and from Marrons Pharmacy, Bob and Kates, Faddens Pharmacy and Clancy Pharmacy.

Admission is €20.

Speaking to the Leinster Leader, Evelyn McKee thanked all those who have helped the centre in any way over the past 10 year,
