Fireman battled another fire at a disused industrial premises on the outskirts of Naas at the weekend.

It took place at the former Donnelly Mirrors plant shortly before 7pm on Sunday, December 12.

A number of fire appliances were summoned to the site and a water tanker was also at the scene.

It is understood that nobody was injured at the site, which has been the subject of a number of fires.

The Donnelly Mirrors plant finally closed down in 2007 having been in Naas since the late 1960’s.

When closure plans were announced at the end of 2006 there were in the region of 280 people working there
