Flatscreen TVs and laptops targeted in Newbridge robberies

NEWBRIDGE Gardai are appealling for witnesses to a number of robberies that took place last week in which flatscreen TVs and laptops were stolen.

Raiders broken in to the Curragh racecourse on Monday, February 25 last between 12:30pm and 2.30am via a smashed window and stole a number of 46 inch LG flatscreen TVs.

Three men entered the premises, smashed windows and doors and took the TVs.

The men are described as young wearing tracksuits, one with a black tracksuit jacket, one with a bright green jacket and the last with a grey jacket.

“If anyone saw any activity around the Curagh Racecourse at the time or if anyone has been offered an LG Flatscreen TV for sale please contact the gardai,” said Sgt Seamus Rothwell of Newbridge Garda Station.
