NAAS native Siobhain Grogan has been honoured as a language ambassador by Leargas,
Leargas, the national agency for the management of national and international exchange and cooperation cooperation programmes, is a not for profit organisation operating under the aegis of the Department of Education and Skills.
The role of the language ambassador is to raise awareness of cultural diversity and to encourage an understanding of different values.
Ms. Grogan lives in Lakelands, Naas, with husband Michael and three children and was previously nominated for a national award for her children’s book “Cen t-am e”.
Ms. Grogan, is a second level school teacher in Dublin and former St. Mary’s College, Naas, student.
