A Kildare town group has raised €1,000 euros for the alzheimers’s cause.

Esther Brady, treasurer of the Kildare CYMS committee, raised the money with the help of the CYMS committee. Recently the cheque for €1,000 was presented by Eamon Hennesy to the “Le Chile Unit “ at St, vincents Hospital, Athy.
Spokesperson, Peadar Byrne said the money raised by Ms. Brady from  an Irish night in the CYMS hall last March. “

It was a hugely successful night, he said.
