Man released following Ballymore Eustace incident

The 30 year old man who was arrested last Sunday following an incident in Ballymore Eustace where shots were fired by gardai during an investigation into the activities of organised criminals was released without charge yesterday evening (Tuesday).

The 30 year old man who was arrested last Sunday following an incident in Ballymore Eustace where shots were fired by gardai during an investigation into the activities of organised criminals was released without charge yesterday evening (Tuesday).

According to Gardai, a file will be prepared on the matter for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A second man in his late 30s was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident. He remains in custody at Naas Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.
