IT was a night of tricks, treats, blood and gore at the Haunted House in Rosconnell Community Centre on Hallowe’en night with haunted hallways. a psychotic surgery, a sickening sitting room and a zombie graveyard.

Designed by the members of the Rosconnell Youth Club and Le Cheile Rosconnell, the tour kicked off with the haunted hallway with promises to thrill.

“People from all over Newbridge popped in,” said youth =leader Cris Pender. “It went really well. We had a couple of grown men screaming. We had people hidden in behind fake walls and people hidden in the graveyard out to spook.”

The psychotic surgery was home to a dead surgeon who has spent the past couple of centuries operating on many poor unfortunate souls while the sickening sitting room was guaranteed to leave all vistiors with a thumping heart, while the zombie graveyard was a meeting point between the living and the dead.

Described as the perfect Halloween and a safe and fun way for teenagers to enjoy the night there was also something a little less spooky for the little ones.
