A young man who sprayed graffiti on a building in Maynooth has been given the benefit of the Probation Act.

A young man who sprayed graffiti on a building in Maynooth has been given the benefit of the Probation Act.

Aidan Roe, whose address is listed as Ballyneane, Castlebar, faced a charge of criminal damage at Brady’s Auctions, Main Street, Maynooth on May 24, 2011.

The court heard that he was caught on CCTV but that he made a full admission to the charge when confronted by Gardai.

The court also heard that he made an offer to clean it off, but that the owners of the property were “not open to that idea”.

He has faced court proceedings for similar matters in the past.

He appeared at Kilcock District Court last Tuesday, June 6.
