The Kildare branch of St John of God Hospital Services has applied for permission to build a day care centre in Celbridge.
Under plans submitted to Kildare County Council on 15 June, unit three of Celbridge Industrial Estate would be converted to a day care centre, with disabled access and a shower room with toilet facilities.
Five new windows would be built at the rear of the building. St John of God Kildare services provides a network of day, educational, residential and respite services to almost 400 children and adults with intellectual disabilities living in Kildare. A decision is due to be made by 9 August.
