Office damaged in Naas car accident

A freak traffic accident caused damage to an office building in Naas yesterday evening.

A freak traffic accident caused damage to an office building in Naas yesterday evening.

A portion of the front wall of the premises housing an accountancy practice run by members of the Conway family was knocked down having been struck by a car.

One of the brothers Timmy, is a former member of Naas Town council, Kildare County Council and Seanad Eireann. He is also an author.

It happened at around 7 pm on August 7 at Basin Street close to the public library, about 150 metres from South Main Street.

It is believed nobody was in the building at the time.

It is understood that the car, a BMW, was extensively damaged though the driver was not seriously injured.
