Relief does not come cheap, apparently, at the county’s public loos, judging by a report in the Kildare Local Authorities Annual report for 2011, which was released recently

According to the report, the spending on the provision of the loos in Newbridge and Kildare was €64,413.62, the equivalent of almost €177 per day, not far off a job seekers weekly allowance, for every day of the year.
