Hometown the latest boy band to be managed by X Factor’s Louis Walsh has some home grown local talent with two of its members from Newbridge and Blessington.
The boy band which plans to take take the music industry by storm is made up six members who are Ryan Mc Loughlin from Newbridge and Josh Grey from Blessington, alongside Dubliners Dean Gibbons, Brendan Murray, Cian Morrin, Dayl Cronin.
They made their television debut on ‘The Late Late Show’ on RTE1 on Friday, May 30.
They will be in good hands with Louis Walsh who made other Irishboybands Boyzone and Westlife a worldwide success, making its young members millionaires. Louis is keen for them to become the next Westlife.

Meanwhile Josh lives in Blessington Abbey with his family, and is a fifth year student at Blessington Community College. However his studies will now have to take a back seat as he pursues a dream music career.
Hometown, who are being styled by fashion guru Lisa Fitzpatrick, will also enjoy a serious taste of fame when they support Shane Filan in Cork in July for Live at the Marquee.
The boys will soon be going into the studio to record their first album and single.
