Naas Credit Union art competition

OVER 4,000 entries were received for the ‘Celebrate Community Colour themed Naas Credit Union art competition. The overall winner in each category will go forward to regional finals, and winning entries will then go through to national final.

Noreen Bird from Naas Art Group who was one of the judges spoke to the children and encouraged them to continue to draw, colour and “do a doodle every day.”

Peter Fullam, Chairman of Naas Credit Union presented the children with their certificates and prize.

The CU thanks the art group members especially Naomi Brennan, Kate Moloney, Fiona Barrett, Amanda Scanlan and Bea Jordan. Naas Art Group are holding their annual art exhibtion in McAuley Place until November 25.

The Irish League of Credit Union holds an annual Art Competition which attracts over 30,000 entries each year. It is run through a network of over 496 Credit Unions across Ireland.
