Kildare County Council has issued a warning over bogus revenue collectors.
It said in a statement this afternoon that it wanted to warn its customers about individuals impersonating Council revenue collectors in Kildare. These individuals may request payments for rates or other charges.
“Kildare County Council staff will have official Council identification cards,” said council spokesperson Annette Aspell.
Those who are unsure of the identity of a collector are asked to contact the office on (045) 980656.
