A Kildare dealership has appealed for information on a truck which was stolen from Naas last week.

The Isuzu NQR, which had a registration number 04 KE 5382, was parked outside the old pipe factory, near the ‘Ball’ at Junction 9 on the N7 on the outskirts of Naas.

The vehicle went missing sometime between Saturday 15 June and the following Sunday morning.

The truck had an advertising A-Frame on its rear when it was stolen, promoting the Crossings Motor Centre. The advertisement and frame was removed and left in a lay-by near Peamount Hospital.

“The truck is very distinctive in that it has a under body ram tipper and a windbreaker on the roof of the cab,” said Aidan Reinhardt of Monasterevin Motors Ltd, owners of the vehicle. “It has a red body and white cab.”

Mr Reinhardt added that the truck has an estimated value of €10,000.

Anyone with any information on the vehicle is asked to contact 045-525255, 087-2528040, 086-8142060 or 086-1214647.
