GARDAI believe a non-national group may be behind an illegl drug find in Kildare on Wednesday, 10 April.
As part of an ongoing investigation, Gardaí from Leixlip carried out a search of a house at Ballyboeen, Kilcock, close to Enfield. at approximately 5pm on Wednesday.
During the course of the search, cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €400,000 were seized. The crop is currently being analysed.
The house lies in a rural area.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
A number of people are currently going through the Court process, charged with illegal activities connected with so called “grow houses.”
In these case, Gardai believe that a non national group are involved.
