A Naas mum is refusing to go back to her council house home after her husband was tragically killed on the property.
Bridget Connors, who is a member of the travelling community, is living with family in a ten foot caravan on a ring road outside Naas. Her three young children, who use a field as a toilet, play yards from the road where trucks and cars whizz by. The family collects washing and drinking water from a garage.
Tom Connors was killed at his home in Sarto Park last June when a wall capstone fell on top of him. His wife says she will not move back to the property and is begging Naas Town Council for a new house for her and her kids.
The Connors children share a narrow bunk in the caravan with Bridget and mother Maggie.
