The pre-nurses took blood pressure and pulse rate in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation and Irish Wheelchair Association Athy Branch. A donation of €2 per person was suggested and there were light refreshments served afterwards.

There are 33 students on the course, who are all hoping to get into nursing in September. The following Friday, April 19 was Disabilty Day and each student took on a disabilty for a day.
