Last Wednesday June 26 was a very special day for Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Curragh Camp, as the 6th class graduation ceremony took place.

Last Wednesday June 26 was a very special day for Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Curragh Camp, as the 6th class graduation ceremony took place.

The pupils were joined by their family members to mark this important milestone in their educational journey.

The newly established school choir sang a number of hymns and songs beautifully to mark the occaision.

Some of these included “This is the Day”, “This Little Light of Mine” as well as “Time of your Life”.

The 6th class students were presented with their yearbook which included memories of their time in primary school.

The 6th class boys sang their own graduation song, which they worked hard to compose during the year and afterwards graduation ended with a balloon releasing ceremony.

Citizenship and attendance awards were also presented to students on the day in recognition of their achievements throughout the year.

Staff and pupils of Scoil Naomh Pádraig wish the 6th class boys the very best of luck as they move onto secondary school.

“We would also like to wish everyone a very safe, happy and enjoyable summer,” said a school’s spokesperson.

“And the very best of luck as they move onto secondary school.”
