A Kilmeague man has finally learned to have respect for the Road Traffic laws, a solicitor told Naas District Court last Wednesday, December 12.

Maurice Kenny whose address is listed as 707 Dunboyne, Kilmeague, was stopped by Garda John Cullinane on May 23, last.

He was driving with no license. He has a previous conviction for drink driving.

He is, the court heard 22 years of age and has two young children, aged four and two years of age.

He lost his job as a result of his previous conviction and currently brings in €370 per week.

His solicitor, Arthur Dennehy told the court that his client had “firmly learned his lesson and does understand that he needs to have respect for the Road Traffic Laws.”

He was fined €300.
