Burst water pipe leaves Kildare houses without water

Many houses across townlands in West Kildare are without water  this morning due to a burst water pipe.

Dep Fiona O’Loughlin said Kildare County Council have a team out investigating the problem at present.

“There is a major burst water main in Kilmeague, there is currently no water supply in the areas of Kilmeague, Allenwood, Prosperous, Roberstown, Carbury and parts of Derrinturn,” she said.
