Motorists can now charge up their electric cars at one of the county’s top tourist destinations.
Newbridge Silverware has launched a new electric car charge point location outside of its Visitor Centre, which houses its showrooms and the Museum of Style Icons.
“It is part of Newbridge Silverware’s ongoing commitment to the environment and local community,” said a spokesperson.
It is the second e-car charge point in the town – the other is located at Newbridge Train Station.
Other local charge points can be found at Kildare town train station, the J14 service station in Monasterevin, and at Fairgreen St and Friary Road in Naas.
TD Fiona McLoughlin officially launched the Newbridge Silverware point recently.
