Screams of fright and delight were heard all over Rosconnell on Halloween night thanks to the Haunted House of Horror in the community centre.

“The leaders and young people of Rosconnell Youth Club held their Haunted house of horror night in Rosconnell Community Centre,” said Catherine Connolly of the Roseconnell Community Centre.

“People came from all around to see the crazy green witch, electric chair, zombies, exorcist and chamber of torture - not to mention the crazy scientist the dead morbid funeral wake.”

Children and adults alike were seen screaming and crying and even laughing on the night.

“I want to extend a huge thank you to all the leaders, Dave Tiernan, Maeve Leahy, Martina Sage, Jean Clarke, and Peter Clifford,” she added.

“All of the young people in the Youth club groups both 10-12 years and 13-16 years put so much effort into the night.”

Rosconnell Youth Club is totally volunteer led community based group, held in Rosconnell Community Centre on a Wednesday evening.

It is described as a safe place for the young people to be together running activities.
