OVER one hundred cyclists took part in the Raheens GAA Cycle Rally on Saturay which started at the school in Caragh and ended some 50 miles away in Kilkenny.

There were many sore and tired limbs as the riders reached their destination but the event was an over whelming success and raised considerable funds for the club.

Well known President of Raheens GAA, May Campbell, cut the tape to set the participants on their way. The 100 plus cyclists and the many helpers all stayed the night in The Newpark Hotel where a good time was had by all.
