Within the GAA community counties the ‘’ holy grail’’ of all counties is to win Provincial or All Ireland honours and so Kildare must be the envy of many counties having achieved that in spades this year.

From being in a bad place five years ago at inter county level Kildare have made giant strides, culminating in this years double, double of All Ireland and Leinster honours at both Premier Junior and minor levels.

As he says ‘Sure all I do is smoke a cigar and ring other people’. But that is what makes things happen.
