Second round championship draws made

In the MDY Construction Senior Football Championship all of the big guns avoided one another. In the winners group 2010 champions Moorefield were paired with Clane, while Sarsfields’ first round destroyers will meet Leixlip in the second round. Holders Athy have been drawn against Allenwood and John Crofton’s Sash will take on St Kevin’s.

In the Joe Fox Plant and Tool Hire Intermediate Championship new boys Robertstown, in the winners group, will face Ellistown, while 2011 SFC side Kilcock will take on Monasterevin in the losers group. Favourites Johnstownbridge have been paired with Caragh.

At junior level the fancied Two Mile House will take on Ballykelly.

No date has yet been set for the second round of the senior, junior and intermediate championships.
