Raheens too strong for Ballyteague in IFC

Leading 1-7 to 1-5 at the break, the Caragh men dominated the second half going on to win on a score line of Raheens 3-11 Ballyteague 1-9.

In the relegation semi final of the IFC, Kilcock were far superior to Straffan, winning 2-13 to 0-10.

Meanwhile in the Junior Football Championship quarter final, played in Athy, also on Saturday, Castleitchell booked their semi final spot with a very impressive display winning 1-16 to 0-8.

In the semi finals of the Reserve ‘A’ Championship, Sarsfields defeated Carbury while Moorefield and Celbridge must try again, the game ending in a draw after extra time.

In the SHC quarter final a goal in the 64th minute saw Confey advance overe Éire Óg Corrachoill, 2-8 to 0-12.
