Moorefield’s Daryl Flynn has been named in midfield for Kildare’s clash with Down in Newry in Round 7 of the AFL in Newry onSunday (7 April), writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

Flynn, missed most of last season with a groin problem but now hopefully is ready to resume his inter county career. Eamonn Callaghan is named at centre forward, Alan Smith is in the corner while Shane Connolly returns to goals.
