Kildare to play Mayo in Croke Park?

The Leinster Leader understands that negociations are underway between Kildare GAA, Mayo and Croke Park, to move the Lilywhite’s opening Allianz National Football League fixture from St Conleth’s Park to Croke Park.

The Leinster Leader understands that negociations are underway between Kildare GAA, Mayo and Croke Park, to move the Lilywhite’s opening Allianz National Football League fixture from St Conleth’s Park to Croke Park.

The fixture against the All Ireland finalists is at present fixed for Newbridge on Sunday, February 2 but a decision on a mooted move, and a possible change of date, is expected in the coming days.
