Former Kildare great, Glenn Ryan, is expected to be ratified as Longford’s senior football manager at a county board meeting next week, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

Former Kildare great, Glenn Ryan, is expected to be ratified as Longford’s senior football manager at a county board meeting next week, writes TOMMY CALLAGHAN.

The Round Towers man has enjoyed a great year with Longford, gaining promotion to Division 2 while getting an extended run in the Leinster SFC and in the All Ireland Qualifiers before going out to Limerick, after extra time.
